Senior Nutrition Program

The Senior Nutrition Program provides site managers for all 19 Senior Nutrition sites that are sponsored by the County's Department of Aging. The sites offer a wide range of educational programs, recreational activities, health screenings, nutritious noontime meals, and access to information and services for county residents 55 years and older. Days and times of operation vary at the many nutrition sites. The sites serve hot nutritious meals at community centers throughout the county, with educational programs available before and after meals. In addition, the sites offer activities and physical fitness opportunities. Meal reservation is necessary.  Some transportation is available.

The program offers discounted meal coupons for several area restaurants, under the family dining program, to income eligible seniors 60 and older and persons 18 and older with disabilities.
