1. Introduction to Transitioning the Head Start Parent

2. Child Development (Ages& Stages 4-6)

3. How Your Child Learns

4. Your Home Is A Learning Center (Review and Make Activities)

5. Parents As Advocates

6. How to schedule and conduct a conferences with Your Child's Teacher

7. Visit a kindergarten class room

8. Each participant will receive a certificate

* Dinner will be served at each session

• Register your child in April

• Attend kindergarten orientation to meet your Child's teacher and visit the classroom

• Talk to child about the new school bus and review bus safety rules

• Share stories about your first day of school!

• Encourage your child everyday with a hug and a smile

• Volunteer in your child's classroom
