Early Head Start is an income eligible
family centered
program
that fosters the educational and social development of pregnant women, infants,
toddlers and children with special needs. This program is located in the
southern
part of the 
county, housed in the Lula Scott
Community Center.
The Agency works on behalf of Friends of the
Family for this program. Supportive services are provided to help parents gain
effective parenting skills as well as to reach self-sufficiency.
