COMPREHENSIVE
CASE
MANAGEMENT

Empowering families to move towards self sufficiency is accomplished through a strength based, purposeful, goal-directed, holistic Family Development approach.

Families receive counseling to help them create plans in the areas of short and long range goals, budgeting, banking, credit repair, employment, GED, higher education and homeownership.

HOUSING
COUNSELING

Those facing evictions, mortgage defaults, interested in reverse mortgages (62 & older) or first time homebuyers, can find the assistance they need to understand and walk through the process with the help of HUD Certified Housing Counselors.

MICRO
ENTERPRISE

Aspiring business owners get a leg up when they attend Breakthrough: An Entrepreneurs Journey. Graduates from this 10-week course walk away with a solid and workable business plan in hand.

FINANCIAL
LITERACY

For those unfamiliar with finances, understanding, preparing and filing tax documents can be burdensome and costly. We provide assistance with the process.

I’m a cancer survivor. Through the help of Community Action Agency (CAA) Representatives, I’m also on my way to recovering from financial hardships that resulted from my illness. CAA was my divine intervention. They helped me gain confidence, understand the right questions to ask, and ultimately find a solution that would allow me to save my home. Your representatives stood in the gap for me. What a wonderful force for good. Thank you again. - Empowerment Client
