The Annapolis Youth
Services Bureau (AYSB) was founded in
1972. It is one of 21 bureaus in the State of Maryland. AYSB is primarily funded by the Anne Arundel
County Local Management 
Board and is supported in part by the City of
Annapolis. for the purpose
of developing and implementing
delinquency prevention programs.
The
AYSB is part of the Economic Opportunity Inc.,
which is better known as the Community Action Agency
of Anne Arundel County. Incorporated in August 1965 as a private nonprofit
agency, the CAA has been providing Anne Arundel County residents with a variety
of community services for the past 28
Years.
